Kilns

I want to second the shout out to Shawn. He transformed an old, non-working kiln shell into a usable Raku kiln. Woo hoo I can now do lots of alternative firings. Thanks again Shawn.

I just wanted to give a big shout out and recommendation to Shawn Felts who just restored an old Cress Kiln I was given and then spent time continuing to answer all questions as I muddled through the process of settings, process, etc. Most importantly if he hadn’t told me how to dry it out slowly for two weeks I probably would have blown it up along with the contents. Shawn currently has a $250 minimum but it was so worth it. I’m a happy camper!
