Pots as Tableware
Jane Dillon currently serves as Assistant Professor at Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, RI. Jane is a potter, textile worker and draftsperson. She will share her work and the sources of inspiration from ceramic history that inspire and inform her work.
Balancing teaching, research, and creative production, Jane has traveled extensively and taught at many schools and universities, including Penland, Arrowmount, Mendocino Art Center, Anderson Ranch Art Center, the University of Colorado, the Appalachian Center for Crafts, and the University of Georgia Studies Abroad Program in Italy.
Jane Maintains a studio with colleagues in the Vlley Arts District, a rejuvenated industrial district along the Woonasquatucket River in Providence, RI. Website:
