Become a VCPG Patron

Maybe you are not a ceramic artist, yet want to stay connected and support the reach and potential of the Ventura Potters Guild. If that is the case, you may want to consider becoming a Patron of the Guild. In 2022 the Board created a “Future Growth” fund that will provide the financial resources to expand the Gallery or create other “brick and mortar” spaces that would benefit both the community-at-large and Guild members. Grants often require matching funds. Rental agreements require deposits and insurance. Bringing dreams to reality requires that a nest egg is available. The Board believes we need to begin saving now so we have the financial resources available when the time comes. 

If you are aligned with our Guild’s mission and want to be a vital part of the Guild’s ongoing work to expand its offerings into an ever-growing community, we invite you to be a Patron. A donation of any size will help build our capacity to expand our offerings. 

Our Mission

The Ventura County Potters’ Guild is a nonprofit organization committed to stimulating public interest in ceramic arts by providing networking, education and sales opportunities in an inclusive environment for all levels and interests of ceramic artists and supporters of the ceramic arts.

Our Goals

• Stimulate public interest and appreciation of the arts of creative ceramic pottery and sculpture.
  
  
• Develop and improve design, aesthetic qualities, and craftsmanship in traditional and innovative ceramics.
  
  
• Encourage and support ceramic artists by providing an educational atmosphere, a sharing of ideas, supporting and promoting their work as a hobbyist or professional ceramic artist, and providing education in the business of being a potter, in a spirit of group cooperation.
  
  
• To provide reasonably priced venues for the exposure of the work of the membership.
